Belisily - Kid's Cafe & Private Hire Venue

We love coming to Belisily. The atmosphere is always lovely. The food and drinks are amazing. It is nice knowing your child is in a fun, safe place where they can play whilst you eat and drink. You can always see them from any table you sit at. The Afternoon Tea on a Tuesday is delicious and a lovely treat for me and my 2 year old daughter to enjoy together. I highly recommend this place. We love it.

One of our favourite places to go! Warm friendly atmosphere with no entry fee. Allergy aware staff with a great range of food for my allergy kids. There’s a cute garden area in the warmer weather with seating and toys which my kids have enjoyed recently. Lovely play area with a great range of toys for babies to older kids. Even a games shelf, Lego and colouring for the older ones to sit up the table and enjoy. Great if you have multiple aged kids. I’ve had both my daughters parties here too and Dena has gone above and beyond to help. Definitely worth a visit!

I came to the cafe for the first time with my 15 month old. Having only been to Hitchin play cafes, I didn’t know what to expect but was so surprised to be greeted by the lovely owner Denna. The play area was clean and safe for babies, and more importantly, the coffee was perfect! There was a good variety of kids meals with clean high chairs. The bourbon brownie was UNREAL Lovely cakes and a warm atmosphere with plenty of friendly parents and grandparents. I will definitely be returning after such a great experience. Our new favourite cafe!

I go here regularly with my son and my Mum/his Nanny. Dena always gives the best service be it busy or not. She ALWAYS remembers your preference of drinks and will check this is what you're having before making it. The food she makes is tasty and reasonably priced,....and always has a great selection of sweet treats. Nothing is ever to much for her and we love it. Keep doing what you're doing Dena, as it really works!

Such a great play cafe! It’s my go to when I’m in Letchworth with my toddler. My son especially loves the toy kitchen, but the layout here allows me to have a drink whilst it’s still hot and I can see my son having a great time from my seat. Belisily has become our home from home. My daughter is nearly 2, and we absolutely love it here. The atmosphere is lovely and friendly, the food and drinks are great and not over priced at all. It's free entry (which is astonishing given that everywhere else charges), and it's the first place we've been where I felt like my daughter was genuinely safe running around and playing without me doing too much hovering. The outdoor area is really nice when weather allows with plenty of things to play with and little ride on toys, and my daughter was entertained for ages. Dena is the most wonderful, welcoming, down to earth person and mum you'll ever meet. We've booked the café for her 2nd birthday party (Very inexpensively, I might add) and I can honestly say I wish we'd been in sooner. Plenty of veggie and vegan options for snacks and drinks too. Nowhere else is as welcoming. I had a coffee while my toddler safely played for over an hour and it was glorious. Thank you!!

A wonderful idea and well ran, especially considering there is only one staff member. Our son thoroughly enjoyed both the play areas (inside and outside) and food, and my wife and I didn't feel worried leaving him to play whilst we ate. It was a nice and rare occurrence for parents to sit peacefully and eat, knowing their kid is safe and having fun. Keep up the good work.

I love Dena and her team. All super welcoming. It feels like home from home (without any cooking or tidying up). Food is fab and reasonable, and they remember what you've had before ie allergies or no skin on cucumbers. Whether you have Dena, Aunt kitie of the other team members all just super lovely. We've been going for years, and even though Myles has almost outgrown parts of it, there is still lots he loves, the board games, the activities etc. Highly recommend and will be going for many years to come.
